| | Be our guest at the Farmington Bed & Breakfast Inn and Stables and take in the beautiful sights and many activities that Chautauqua County New York offers. The Farmington Inn is conveniently located to many of the region's attractions, including Chautauqua Institution (just 6 miles away), Chautauqua Lake, local antique shopping and wineries, as well as abundant outdoor recreation. The Farmington Inn provides direct access to scenic trails that offer excellent hiking and biking in the warmer months and snowmobiling and cross-country skiing in the winter.
Surrounded by ancient shade trees, The Farmington Inn is a country retreat in an 1820 farmhouse. Open year-round, refresh your spirits in the shade of the front porch or relax in the warmth of the stone fireplace in the living room. A full country breakfast is served in the dining room where guests can leisurely enjoy good company or dine and set off for the day's activities.
The Stables at Farmington is a horse boarding facility located in the farm's turn-of-the-century-barn. Guests may visit with the horses and boarding can be arranged for short or long term stays. All arrangements must be made prior to arrival.
The Farmington Inn and Stables is located on Route 430 (just 9 miles from Interstate 90 also known as New York State Thruway) one mile east of the center of Mayville.

Policies | | Children: Children Not Appropriate | Given that many parents visit to get some R & R away fro their families, we welcome well behaved and disciplined children over 10. | Pets Welcome | Well groomed and well behaved dogs are welcomed in the 7th Heaven ground-floor room only. Approval must be obtained prior to your arrival and your pet must be confirmed by name in your reservation confirmation letter to indicate approval. Dogs only are allowed, two dogs max, weight limit of 30 pounds, over one year in age, and house trained. Current immunization records must be presented. There is a $25 per visit fee which covers extra laundry and cleaning time between guests. There is a $150 pet security deposit, which is taken at check-in by credit card "off-line approval" or cash. Your pet security deposit is completely refundable if there is no pet damage. At check-in you are requested to acknowledge our Pet Guide Information and Guidelines so that you are aware of the things that need to happen to make sure that your pet does not cause any problems for you, the property or other guests. Dogs must be kept in your room during breakfast and are never to be left in the Inn unattended. Outside dogs must be leashed. Owner must clean up after their pet and not allow it on the furniture without a cover under it (sheets are available to use as throws). Owner is responsible for any damage that may occur. Certain breeds are not accepted and we ask that barkers and unruly pets be boarded. We can refer you to a local pet boarding facility. Further it is understood that if a pet becomes a problem for other guests or the property or the staff that the dog will have to be removed from the property, at any time, if requested by management. We are extremely fond of our three Jack Russells and Bassett Hound, who do not mix with guests or visiting pets but who delight in the Farmington Inn surroundings. We have over 12 acres of 'interesting' land with myriads of fascinating woodland smells as well as open pasture and meadows for you to play in with your pet in addition to the hiking trails. | Pets Living At Inn: Yes | In the residence and private residential gardens and paddocks - not in the Inn or mixing with the guests. | Smoking: Outside |
