Salsamba (Latin jazz band) performs in the Robert Lee Scharmann Theatre: 8p.m.

Leonard Urso, endowed chair and distinguished professor at the Rochester Institute of Technology, will present a provocative lecture in the Sarita Hopkins Weeks Reception Hall.
The reception includes cocktails and hors d'oevuvres, and Straight No Chaser (Steve Davis and Eric Pearson) will perform jazz.
Salsamba, a Pittsburgh based Latin jazz band (back by popular demand), will perform in the Robert Lee Scharmann Theatre Cost is $6 JCC/FSA - $8 area students & seniors - $10 general admission.

The horror of 9-11 has left an imprint on the hearts and minds of all Americans. Terrorism is a sign of our times. How can we protect our homes, schools, and businesses in readiness for that which threatens us? Have our elected officials appropriated funds necessary to train, equip, and communicate to the citizenry?

Many within Chautauqua County question “how safe are we?” Prepared with a power-point presentation and handouts will be Julius J. Leone, Jr., Chautauqua County Director of Emergency Services, partnering with him will be Michael Vendette, Chautauqua County Counter-Terrorism and Haz-Mat Coordinator. A representative from the U. S, Coast Guard may be present to speak to protecting coastal waterways. There will be a question and answer session following the presentation. 10/22/2006 - PNC Bank Achievement Center Trail of Treats , Warren Mall, 1666 Market Street, Warren , Warren County
On Sunday, October 22, 2006 children can visit the Warren Mall, 1666 Market Street, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. to parade their costumes and fill their gift bags with fun and yummy treats.

The PNC Bank Trail of Treats event will provide children a safe, indoor environment to trick and treat. Children attending the event can showcase their costumers and received treats from “treat stations” throughout the Warren Mall. The cost of the event is $1 per child and everybody (family and friends) are welcome to attend.
