June 12 &13, 8pm and June 14, 3pm A lively celebration of Baroque music, happening in early June each year, Bach & Beyond features spirited performances of some of the greatest music ever written. Treat yourself to the lighthearted atmosphere that has distinguished the Festival since its beginning in 1996. Though the musical genius of Johann Sebastian Bach is the foundation of the Festival, each year the festival also includes other great composers whose works reflect Bach’s inspirational influence. This year's program will pay tribute to this milestone with some of the best offerings from the past 20 years presented again, along with two special pieces composed and/or revised specifically to celebrate the 20th Anniversary ... the world premiere of The Night Watch, newly composed by Rob Deemer in honor of the Festival’s 20th Anniversary; and Homage to Bach, updated by Grant Cooper to pay special tribute to the Festival's supporters!
