Chautauqua County boasts more farms than any other county in New York State. Find out what makes us special! Stop by a local farmers market in Jamestown, Fredonia, Lakewood, Westfield, Sherman, Irving, or the Chautauqua Mall and pick up some local produce, grass fed beef, cheese, and organic foods, as well as Amish and locally made gifts and crafts. There are a number of farm stands throughout the county as well, and the Crossroads Farm and Craft Market in Westfield is open Saturdays through December.

Vineyard Walks, Beer, and Wine Pairing Dinners |
Visit 23 wineries for tours and tastings in Lake Erie Wine Country or take a brewery tour at Southern Tier Brewing Company and enjoy local brews at the Empty Pint. With the largest grape growing region in the East, wine and agriculturally themed experiences are a natural fit for visitors to Chautauqua County, especially during Chautauqua in Spring. Take a walk through vineyards and learn how the soil affects taste at Johnson Estate Winery. Dine in the vineyards or while watching the sunset with Liberty and Merritt Estate Wineries or Cabana Sam's Sunset Bay Beach Grill. EBC West in Fredonia, Webb's Captain's Table in Mayville, and Mazza 5 and 20 in Westfield offer more experiences featuring local beers, spirits, and whiskies.
