Sweet Maple
Syrup
Maple Weekends, March 16-17 & 23-24
As warmer days and freezing nights cause the sap to flow, Maple syrup
season begins. Visit local sugar houses March 16-17 and 23-24 during New York
State's annual Maple Weekend, a state-wide open house promoting maple syrup
producers. Watch the sap as it boils, sample maple candy, or savor warm syrup

Progressive Supper
Springtime in Paris, April 6,
2013
Liberty Vineyards and Winery, 21 Brix Winery and Johnson Estate Winery announce their
first Progressive Supper on Saturday, April 6th at 6:00pm. Springtime in Paris
will feature a three-course French-inspired menu with each course served at a
different winery. The evening begins with an array of tantalizing hors d'oeuvres
including French cheeses, ham and Roquefort roulades and onion stuffed mushrooms
paired with Liberty Vineyards Sparkling Riesling. Learn about wine varieties and
food pairings with the main course feature of Beef Bourguignon or Sole in a
Beurre Blanc sauce at 21 Brix. A Blueberry Concord Tart paired with Chambourcin
and Sliced Baguettes with Goat Cheese and Fruit paired with Vidal Blanc Ice Wine
finishes the meal at Johnson Estate. Seating is limited. The cost is $60.00 plus
tax and includes three courses, wine pairings at each individual winery and
gratuity. Note that transportation between courses is not included.

Chautauqua in June, May 31 - June
16
Join a farm to table culinary adventure or winemaker's dinner. Be a brewer
for a day at Southern Tier Brewing Company. Go foraging for fungi. Take a lesson
in photography using vineyards as your muse or taste local flavors while
learning to pair food with wine or beer. Register for a learning experience
while enjoying the local bounty, great outdoors, and heritage of Chautauqua
County: the World's Learning Center. The two week schedule of more than 20
workshops runs May 31 - June 16, 2013. For more information, contact The

Comedy
at the JSB Arena
Fridays, 6 - 9 pm, March 22 - May 31
The Jamestown Savings Bank Arena hosts the new Wits 'n
Giggles comedy series every Friday from 6 - 9 pm inside the upper
level Arena Club. The first edition on March 22 features
Jack Willhite, a comedian who uses music to entertain his
crowds with twisted renditions of songs from some or your favorite rock artists.
Doors will open at 6pm for seating and drinks while food orders will be taken
starting at 6:30pm. The show will begin at 7pm. Tickets
for the comedy series are $8 presale or $12 on the day of the show, and are
available at the JSBA Box Office located at 319 West Third Street in Jamestown,
