Weather only a penguin could love
Perhaps it’s fitting that the Penguin Paddle, an important fundraiser for Holiday Valley Resort’s Lounsbury Adaptive Ski Program takes place Saturday. The weather, beginning today and continuing through Friday with snow and potentially high winds in Cattaraugus County, will result in conditions that are great for penguin sliding. Meanwhile, blizzard conditions are forecast for southern Erie County, with total snow accumulations of 1 to 2 feet and winds gusting as high as 45 to 55 mph to blow and drift snow.
