The trombone chorus takes advantage of open space at the Chautauqua Institute to practice. Music camps will again be offered this summer during August. A chamber music camp has been added to the middle school band, orchestra and high school jazz programs offered last year.
The camp takes place on the grounds of Chautauqua Institution from Aug. 11-16. It functions as a day camp, meaning lodging is not included.
The cost is $200 for early registration for this and the other camps. Interested students should visit the camp website at chautauquamusiccamps.org.
Complete application information and procedures are available there, as well as camp pictures from previous years.
