Chaut-lake erie wine trailCelebrate  "21" with the Chautauqua-Lake Erie Wine Trail - With its 2008 Wine & Cheese Event, May 3rd & 4th, the Chautauqua-Lake Erie Wine Trail welcomes its 21st member winery, Lakeview Wine Cellars in North East, Pennsylvania.  Of the Wine Trail's members, thirteen are located in New York and eight in Pennsylvania; five of these wineries were added within the last year. During the Wine & Cheese Event, each of the wineries will prepare a special dish using cheese provided by event sponsor, Heluva Good Cheese, and will pair it with a complementary wine.  Ticket holders may visit each of the 21 wineries to sample this food and wine.  One winery is designated as a "pick-up" point for event wineglass, gift, and recipe cards.  This year, in addition to Saturday/Sunday tickets, the Wine Trail will also offer "Sunday Only" tickets; both are available at 877-326-6561 or at the  Chautauqua-Lake Erie Wine Trail

Laugh!  Spend Memorial Day Weekend with Melody Thomas Scott in the hometown of her idol, Lucille Ball, at Jamestown's annual Lucy-Desi Days Celebration.  Melody Thomas Scott, who stars as "Nikki Newman" in "The Young and The Restless" and is a founding board member of the Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz Center, will be starring in three very special events on Sunday, May 25.
- Sunday Melody will welcome guests to a brunch in the beautiful Tropicana Room, a recreation of Ricky Ricardo's nightclub from the most famous sitcom in TV history, "I Love Lucy".  Melody will share stories and answer questions about her own career and how she came to love The Queen of Comedy.  Each guest will receive a personally autographed picture of Melody.

- Sunday night Melody will host the Lucy-Desi Fans Talent Show & Costume Contest.  She will welcome the audience to the beautifully restored theatre where a young Lucille Ball watched vaudeville and movies and was inspired to go into show business.  Fans gathered from across the land will take the stage to prove their "unexpected" talents and showcase their original costumes inspired by classic moments from their - and Melody's! -   all-time favorite comedy show.  Costume contest winners will receive prizes courtesy of The Franklin Mint.  - Following the Talent Show & Costume Contest, the Grand Finale Wrap Party will be on the stage of the theatre, where fans will mix and mingle with Melody and the other festival VIPs, while enjoying live music, wine tasting courtesy of Johnson Estate Winery, and a wonderful dessert buffet.
