Chautauqua Lake Fishing

Chautauqua Lake - Snow pack on Chautauqua Lake has kept ice marginally thin for anglers afoot or on snow machines. Shoreline walkers have gotten out to good perch numbers, but walleye reports are thinner than the ice surface.

Lisa Green at Happy Hooker Bait & Tackle also heard of some bluegill numbers coming from Burtis Bay shallows. Contact the Greens (763-5815) or other area bait shops or shoreline residents before heading to Chautauqua this weekend.
